Partners Group often gets asked to conduct research from a wide range of different stakeholders in order to achieve a wide range of outcomes.

Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI)

The EITI is a Norwegian headquartered global standard for the good governance of oil, gas and mineral resources. The EITI had asked the Partners Group to condense its several hundred page annual reports for Zambia in to a simple one page infographic that would highlight the most interesting points for policy makers, stakeholders in the mining sector and other key relevant members of the public in an engaging manner.

The Partners Group received feedback from the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) that infographic was effective in helping to raise awareness about the activities of the EITI in Zambia and also to assist the Zambian government to revise policies concerning the mining sector that were more effective and conducive for both the general public as well as stakeholders in the mining sector.

Various mining interests

In 2015, various undisclosed mining interests approached the Partners Group to research on the historical copper production output of Chile and Zambia and how any legislation or legislative changes may have led to increased output and therefore increased taxes being collected and accelerated economic development being achieved. An infographic was produced to highlight this simply and published in the Partners Guide Magazine with the view of influencing the Zambian government to emulate the strategies of the Chilean government for the mutual benefit of stakeholders connected to the mining sector as well as the Zambian general public.

DISCLAIMER: The Partners Group will only embark on research projects that it believes the findings of which may lead to being of benefit for a wider number of Zambians and only publish things that it feels can be factually substantiated and validated.
